Why Join Us
What makes the Masonic AI Lodge different — and why now is the right moment to be a founding brother.
A Lodge for the Age We Are Living Through
Artificial intelligence is not a future concern. It is the defining technology of the present moment — reshaping every profession, every institution, and every assumption about what human beings are for.
Freemasons have always been drawn from the professions and trades that shape society. In previous centuries, that meant architects, engineers, lawyers, and merchants. Today, it means the people building, governing, and questioning artificial intelligence.
The Masonic AI Lodge exists to bring those people together — inside the Lodge, and at the festive board.
-
A Regular UGLE Lodge
We are not a dining club, a discussion group, or a networking organisation with Masonic trappings. We are a fully constituted Lodge under the United Grand Lodge of England. We work the degrees, observe the ceremonies, and live by the landmarks of the Craft.
-
Unmatched Intellectual Programme
Every festive board features structured discussion of a specific AI topic — presented by a member or invited speaker with genuine expertise. This is not after-dinner chat. It is the kind of informed, frank, off-the-record conversation that is hard to find anywhere else.
-
A Fellowship of Professionals
Your fellow members will be technologists, lawyers, ethicists, policymakers, academics, and business leaders who share your professional world — and your Masonic values. The network you build here will be unlike any other.
-
Four Meetings a Year at Freemasons' Hall
We meet four times a year — in February, May, September, and November — at Freemasons' Hall, 60 Great Queen Street, London. Each meeting is the full Masonic experience: lodge working, festive board, and fellowship.
-
Be a Founding Brother
There are 15–25 places for Founding Brothers. Joining now means you help shape the character and traditions of the Lodge from its very first meeting — an opportunity that will not exist again.
